Finally....Our official LID!

Well, to our surprise we got it today; our official LID! Our agency notified us that they received our LID officially from the CCAA! We are just thrilled to finally have it! What does it change? Well, nothing actually. We just can now have the peace of mind that for sure everything is in motion! The surprising thing is that we are way farther along than we had anticipated. You see, as mentioned before we were told our DTC was July 19th. That was the day that our courier service let us know that are Dossier landed at the CCAA in China. Well, guess what our LID is? July 20th! Wow, huh? We would have never thought in a million years that our Dossier would get to the CCAA & be logged in that quickly! Most families that we have spoken with have had their Dossiers sit at the CCAA for a good period of time after arrival before they have actually been officially logged in. All of this time, we figured that since our DTC was July 19th that if we were lucky we might have an official LID somewhere in the neighborhood of mid-end August. So, to officially be notified today that our LID is July 20th......well, needless to say we are all smiles! Yes, the wait is still long, but this puts us a little closer & these days as we all know, every day counts!

So, c'mon referrals! I have been reading the rumors that possibly the CCAA made it to December 12th ! That would be so great! I would love to see a couple of weeks in a batch! Here's hoping....
