Isaiah 43:5 "Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west."
Update:
For those of you just joining us in our journey: We started this blog to document our journey to parenthood. Mainly, our journey to China & back~& our life as a new family with Mia Lynn home safe & sound! However, as the wait continues to grow & grow-what was once estimated as approximately 9-14 months is now estimated at what may be over five & maybe more years of waiting, we have embarked on other options along the way while we wait to grow our family. We have had two failed domestic placements. One almost two years ago & one six short months ago. Suffering years of Infertility that included loss & heartache, two failed domestic placments & a wait that seems it may never come to an end for our Mia Lynn~we find ourselves settling into life as we know it now & prayerfully wait, as we hope that parenthood will soon find us. This is our story as life continues to unfold as we find our way.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step......
An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstances. The thread may stretch or tangle but will never break. ~ Ancient Chinese Proverb
As some of you know, our lives are full, but not complete. We hope that you will join us on our journey to parenthood. This blog will document with text & photos for our friends & family our journey to bring our daughter; Mia Lynn, home from China. We believe that our child, even though she will be born in China, is & has always been destined to be a part of our family. We will also be sharing the latest & greatest from time to time from our household to yours as well as just jotting down thoughts for the day, feelings of the moment & sometimes letters to Mia will be included as well. Once in China we will upload photos & text of our journey through China & ultimately document for all of you back in the states to watch as we finally have Mia in our arms for the first time with her forever family!
